Dear Raider Families,
As we move through February, we are reminded of the importance of partnership between our schools and families. One of the most meaningful ways we strengthen that partnership is through parent–teacher conferences.
Conferences will be held across the district on February 25, 26, and 27 at the elementary, middle, and high schools. These conversations provide an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect, review student progress, and work together to support each student’s continued growth and success.
When families and educators connect in meaningful ways, our students benefit most. I encourage every family to take advantage of this important opportunity to strengthen communication, share insights, and work together in support of student success.
There are also many exciting things happening across Hastings Public Schools. We are celebrating athletic teams advancing to state competitions, outstanding performances at Swinging on the River, winter band, orchestra, and vocal concerts, and the recent HHS play. Our students continue to demonstrate talent, dedication, and Raider Pride both in and out of the classroom. We encourage families to stay connected and informed by visiting our district Events Calendar.
Registration for the 2026–2027 Tilden Community Preschool opens February 23. Tilden Community Preschool provides a safe, inclusive, play-based learning environment that supports the growth and development of young learners.
If you or someone you know has a preschool-aged child, we encourage you to explore this opportunity. We are proud to offer early learning experiences that help our Little Raiders build confidence and prepare for kindergarten.
