Finals Schedule

  • The buses will run at their regular times on Thursday and Friday after 2:31 pm.  Students may leave at 1:00 p.m. Friday if they do not need the make-up time.  Students may stay at school in the commons and wait for their buses at the normal time.

  • Students are not allowed to leave school and return later for a final. 
    • In addition, students must stay in the classroom the entire class period - passes to another classroom or support office at teacher discretion on a limited basis only. 

  • Students should not call their parents when they finish a final and ask for a pass to leave school.

  • If a student has a study hall to start or end their finals day – parents may excuse students from that study hall by calling the attendance office at : 651-480-7477 or sending a note with their student before school to get a pass.  Students with a study hall in the middle of a final exam day must stay in school.

With Cold weather season upon us, please make sure you are checking the Hastings Public Schools website for the most up to date information about school closings. 

For students who drive to school, remember to start planning ahead for the chilly temps! Start those cars early and give yourself plenty of time to make it to school safely when the snow falls.

Below are reminders about our cell phone policy at HHS

All cell phones must be put away during class time - even out in the pod or hallway
Students are allowed to use their phones during passing time and at lunch

First Offense:
The device confiscated and turned into the office
The student may pick up their device at the end of the day

Second Offense:
The device confiscated and turned into the office
The student may pick up their device at the end of the day

Beyond the second offense :
The device confiscated and turned into the office
A parent/guardian must pick up the device from the Student Office
If cell phone usage continues to be an ongoing problem, principals will work with parents/guardians on a behavioral plan
