Dear HHS Parents, Guardians and Students,
|
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, it’s hard not to feel a sense of pride in all that our students have accomplished and excitement for all that’s still ahead. This is a season filled with celebration, reflection, and well-earned recognition.
This past weekend, students enjoyed another successful and memorable prom—an evening that highlighted not only their joy and school spirit, but also the strong sense of community that makes our school so special. We're also looking forward to the spring play coming up this weekend. Moments like these remind us how important it is to celebrate together.
In the weeks ahead, we look forward to honoring our students in many meaningful ways. We will celebrate academic excellence and leadership through our National Honor Society induction, recognize outstanding athletic achievements at our Athletic Awards on May 4th, and honor the accomplishments and cultural pride of our students at the Native American Graduate Honoring Ceremony. Our Local Scholarship Night will showcase the incredible support of our community and the bright futures awaiting our graduates, while AVID Family Night will highlight the hard work and college and career readiness of our AVID students.

|
All of this leads us to one of the most important milestones of the year—graduation on June 5th. It is a time to celebrate perseverance, growth, and the many paths our students will take beyond high school.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us recognize and celebrate the achievements of our students. It is truly a special time of year, and we are grateful to share it with you.
Warmly, Scott Doran

We also highlight Christine Meister, whose impact in the classroom is unmistakable. She has a remarkable ability to build authentic connections with students, creating an environment where they feel seen, valued, and motivated to engage.
Christine consistently delivers rich, meaningful learning experiences that go beyond the basics, inviting students to think deeply and participate actively. She brings her ELA curriculum to life through creativity, relevance, and passion, often going above and beyond to make lessons memorable and impactful.
Her dedication not only strengthens student learning but also fosters a genuine love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
