Dear HMS Parents, Guardians, and Students,
This short week at Hastings Middle School was filled with meaningful moments and school spirit. Our school community enjoyed some light-hearted fun before the holiday. The Student Council hosted a "Turkey Trot" scavenger hunt during advisory classes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Laughter filled the hallways as students searched for hidden paper turkeys and worked together to collect codes. This festive activity brought everyone together, and one student in each grade earned a small prize for finding the most turkeys.
As we head into Thanksgiving break, I want to express my gratitude for our wonderful HMS community. I am thankful for our students' enthusiasm, our staff's dedication, and our families' constant support. Together, we make this school a great place to learn and grow. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! |

Weโve been seeing a lot of headaches in the health office lately! ๐ง Staying hydrated can make a big difference. Please remind your student to drink water throughout the day and to bring a refillable water bottle to school.
๐ฆ Strep throat is still making the rounds, so please continue to watch for symptoms such as sore throat, fever, or stomachache. If needed, Cub Pharmacy in Hastings offers both testing and treatment options. As we head into the holiday season, remember to wash your hands, get plenty of rest, and take good care of yourselves!
Have a wonderful holiday, Nurse Erin and Nurse Katie ๐ธ |
