Ryan Wynn

Dear HMS Parents, Guardians, and Students,

I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to our students and families for an incredible start to the school year. Our students have done an outstanding job navigating our new house system and adjusting to the updated procedures, including the new cell phone policy. Their adaptability and positive attitude have been key to the smooth transition we've seen so far.

I also want to give a huge thank you to our amazing staff. Their dedication and hard work in preparing for the start of the school year have been instrumental in launching the house system so successfully. We are continuously making small adjustments to further improve the school experience, and it's been great to see how well our students are embracing these changes.

Personally, I feel incredibly welcomed by the Hastings community. The support I’ve received from families has been overwhelming, and I’m experiencing firsthand the excellence this community is known for. I’m excited about the great things we are going to accomplish together this year.

A quick reminder regarding morning drop-off: To help with traffic flow and ensure buses can access the parking lot without delays, please drop your student off as soon as you reach the designated drop-off zone. We cannot have cars waiting in the zone, as this is causing significant congestion. Students are not allowed into the building until 7:35 AM, so please plan accordingly and ensure they are dressed appropriately as the weather cools.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support. Together, we’re making this year a success!

Ryan
