Dear Raider Families,
This past week, Hastings Public Schools had its first inclement weather day of the school year. Student and staff safety is always our top priority, and decisions about closing or delaying school are made carefully and thoughtfully.
As a reminder:
• The first two inclement weather days of the year are treated as traditional snow days with no school and no E-learning for students.
• If we have a third inclement weather day, that day will be an E-learning day for students.
On E-learning days, students do not report to school buildings; instead, they complete learning activities provided by their teachers. These days are structured to allow students to continue learning from home.
You can find more information about what E-learning days look like and what to expect here:

This is a friendly reminder to join us for the School Board’s next Community Collaboration Event on January 12 from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Hastings Middle School cafeteria.
We’ll review the School Perceptions Survey results and share what students, families, and staff told us about their experiences in our schools. It’s a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations about how we can continue to grow and improve together.
Your perspective matters, and we hope you’ll join us as Hastings Public Schools continues its work toward continuous improvement.
Go Raiders!
