Dear Kennedy Families,

This past week, our school took time to recognize and honor Veterans Day. Our 3rd grade students recently welcomed several veterans into their classrooms to share their stories and experiences in the military. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to learn firsthand about the dedication, service, and sacrifice these individuals have made. The other grade levels also engaged in meaningful activities—writing thank-you letters, creating artwork, and participating in discussions about service—to honor and recognize the importance of Veterans Day. We deeply appreciate all of our veterans who have protected our country and ensured the freedoms we enjoy today.

Last week, our First Grade classes went on a field trip to the MN Zoo. Huge "thank you" to our incredible parent chaperones who helped make this experience possible. 🤍
