Dear Kennedy Families, 

We are excited to invite families to our upcoming STEM Night on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30–7:30 PM! This fun, hands-on event is sponsored by our Kennedy PTA and the local Society of Women Engineers, who have partnered with The Works Museum to bring a variety of engaging STEM activity stations for students and families to explore together.

Students will have the chance to try a range of interactive challenges that highlight science, technology, engineering, and math in creative and exciting ways. In addition to the stations provided by The Works Museum, our STEM room will feature several of the STEM Olympic events that students recently completed, including Curling, Ski Jumping, and DASH Robot skiing. Students will enjoy sharing these activities with their families and trying the challenges together.

Please see the flyer included below for additional details. We encourage families to join us for this special evening of learning and fun. We know schedules can be busy, but we hope many of you are able to attend.

It should be a great night of exploration and discovery—we hope to see you there!

We also want to wish all of our Kennedy families a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school after the break!

It's time to order your your 2026 Kennedy Elementary Yearbook! Orders are online only again this year.

No additional yearbooks will be ordered. 

This week, a few of our Second Grade Classrooms had a special visitor! Nick Haltvick (a Kennedy Dad!) is a Bridge Construction Engineer from MnDOT. The kids built two bridges and tested their load-bearing capacity by crawling through them! Thanks, Nick, for making learning fun! 🌉

The students have a snack time each day! 🥨
Our School Social Worker helps to coordinate snacks for kids who come to school without one. If you want to help make this possible, you can send prepackaged snacks to the Main Office between 7:30am and 4pm.

Student Favorites: popcorn, goldfish, chocolate chip granola bars, applesauce pouches, and pretzels.
