Dear Raider Families,
It’s been wonderful to have everyone back this week. Our classrooms are once again filled with energy, learning, and connection. I always enjoy seeing students and staff settle into their routines as we begin the final stretch of the school year.
As we move forward, we remain committed to listening, learning, and working together as a school community. Our upcoming Community Collaboration Event is a wonderful opportunity for this, and I encourage everyone in the ISD 200 community to join us.
At our last Community Collaboration event, participants reviewed highlights from the School Perceptions Survey and shared their experiences in Hastings Public Schools. We continue to use that feedback to guide our work and decisions.
At our next event, we’ll build on what we’ve learned and continue the conversation. Together, we’ll look for ways to improve communication, deepen understanding, and strengthen the connections between our schools, the School Board, and the Hastings community.
Community Collaboration Event Details:
Date: April 1, 2026
Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
Location: Hastings High School Lecture Hall
During the evening, we’ll spend time in conversation exploring questions such as:
-What is working well in the relationship between Hastings Public Schools, the School Board, and the community?
-Where are there opportunities to strengthen communication, understanding, and connection?
-What ideas can help us continue building strong relationships moving forward?
Your voice matters. Whether you’ve attended before or are joining us for the first time, we welcome your perspective and hope you’ll take part in this important conversation.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Hastings Public Schools. I appreciate the strong partnership we share and look forward to what we can accomplish together.
Go Raiders!
