Dear Raider Families,
As we move through May, Hastings Public Schools is entering one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year. Concerts, performances, celebrations, awards, and graduation events are filling our calendar as we celebrate our students' work and accomplishments.
Our music programs will be especially active over the next several weeks with band, orchestra, and vocal concerts across all grade levels. We also look forward to Senior Awards Night later this month, followed by graduation in early June as we celebrate the Class of 2026.

At the School Board workshop this week, the Board also reviewed a draft of the district’s new Vision Card and Data Dashboard. The Vision Card is being designed as a concise two-page snapshot of district data connected to our Strategic Plan and district goals. The data dashboard provides information related to academics, student belonging, safe and supportive schools, staff retention, and district operations.
We also encourage the community to support the Hastings High School Plant Sale every day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the high school greenhouse until the end of May. This annual event continues to grow each year and showcases the incredible work of our horticulture students. Students spend months planting, caring for, and preparing the flowers and arrangements, while also gaining valuable hands-on experience in greenhouse and business operations.
Thank you for your continued support of Hastings Public Schools during this exciting season of celebrations and accomplishments.
Go Raiders!
