Dear Families,
Maintaining Learning Momentum As the weather begins to shift, we want to keep our academic energy high! This is a "power month" for learning, where many concepts finally "click" for students. We are providing hands-on lessons in our classrooms to keep students engaged and curious about the world around them.
At Home: Ask your child to "show off" something they’ve mastered recently. Celebrating their progress, no matter how small, keeps them motivated to keep trying.
Ask your child: “What is something new you learned this week that made you feel proud or excited?”
Takeaway: Staying consistent and motivated in the spring leads to huge gains by the end of the year.
We had a great STEM night a couple of weeks ago. Students applied engineering skills to build catapults, towers, kaleidoscopes, and circuits.
Hopefully, the change in weather brings kids outside to play and connect at local parks.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Mr. Esterby
